Clear-span steel warehouse framing at a Midwest distribution hub

Midwest Logistics Hub

Location
Ohio, USA
Industry
Warehousing & Logistics

Spanova Global delivered a multi-bay arch and clear-span steel structure for a regional distribution operator consolidating inbound freight and outbound parcel sortation under one roof. The Ohio site required wide column-free bays to accommodate cross-dock lanes, elevated mezzanine staging, and future automation without structural rework.

Engineering teams sized the arch profile for snow and wind loads typical of the upper Midwest while preserving usable interior height for rack systems and conveyor clearances. Galvanized roof and wall panels were specified for corrosion resistance in a high-traffic loading environment. The project was staged to keep one existing dock active during erection, reducing downtime for the tenant's peak season.

The completed hub provides approximately 120,000 square feet of conditioned storage with dedicated maintenance and fleet parking bays. Spanova coordinated panel production, shipment sequencing, and on-site assembly support so the owner could certificate occupancy on an accelerated schedule aligned with a new retail contract.
